About this project

Mill Co. 915 needed to get their online retail site up-and-running in a relatively quick time, with limited resources. We opted for to use Squarespace for their prebuilt storefront and their relatively-easy-to-learn CMS. 

​

The flip side of using their framework was the struggle with responsive layout and the ability to truly refine solely with their templates. That led to quite a bit of front-end coding on my part to get the layouts that I had designed to display correctly.

The initial site was simple, made good use of our limited image assets and gave the company a decent entry into their online retail existence. It also gave us all a great opportunity to dive deep into the Squarespace authoring environment.
