About this project

I formed part of an upstart soccer team in Pittsburgh, made up completely of free agents who didn't know each other. I didn't come up with the team name, but I took it upon myself to develop a team badge that told our story: 11 strangers coming together to form a soccer team.

I used the checker pattern from the the Pittsburgh city flag as an ode to the city where we played, but used green since the initial founder of the team had selected kelly green as our jersey color and white for the numbers.
